Some 25 Things You Could Do, In Living This One life you’ve got: Stop existing and start living! {Pt.2}

Hello My wonderful readers,

I’m so thankful for the numbers of views I’ve been getting since I restarted. It’s a good motivation. ๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿค—

I’m back again with Part 2 of things you should certainly consider doing in your life time.๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿพ

6.) OWN A BLOG [M+]

From experience, blogging is one of the most inexpensive and fulfilling, money-making ideas that everyone should definitely do before their time on earth is done. There are so many blogging platforms, most of which you can start for free, but in order to make money out of it when you build your traffic, you will need to put some money into. It is usually inexpensive nonetheless, as compared to all you can get out of it.

Just like vlogging, you can blog on any area of interest, but make sure it is what people will like to view. Two major platforms for blogging include WordPress and Blogspot, which have free plans for bloggers. If you decide to just blog for fun, you might as well use one of these. However, if you decide to make your blog a source of income, you could upgrade to one of their plans, where you can earn from advertising on your platform,

Blogging is most certainly an idea you want to consider!!

7.) WRITE A BOOK[M+]

I know a lot of people think that writing a book is one of the most difficult things to do but, it actually is easier than you know.  Thanks to technology, there has been a rise in the demand for electronic books and several platforms have been created to meet this demand.

You no longer have to  meet with a publisher and go through the rigor of having your book approved before it is published.  Now, you can just publish your book online. There are several self publishing platforms where your book could even be published and sold  as an ebook, or paperback, without you having to spend a penny.

One major platform that offers this is โ€œAmazon Kindle Direct publishingโ€.

Some other online publishing platforms  include, Goodreads, Google Books, Wattpad,  Fanfiction and the likes.  This idea will basically cost you nothing, except in some few cases but will earn you so much more.

By the way, I’ve got my book  โ€œA Different Shadeโ€ for sale,  please grab your copy by clicking the link below thanks in advance!

8.) LEARN TO CODE/PROGRAMMING [M+]

This is one very unpopular, yet popular idea.  It is unpopular, in the sense that a lot of people despise it, myself included. However, it is in high demand in the corporate career world.

People with this  skill usually find it easy to get well paying jobs andare usually valuable assets to most companies.  A lot of people that know one programming language or the other, usually settle to be self-employed, and yet, still make enough money for themselves.

It is a rather boring and brain racking thing to learn, but the returns from learning this is much more than the struggles to learn it.  If you can go through with learning,  starting from HTML to CSS, to python and other programming languagesโ€ฆ.  even WordPress web design, you’ll be sure to be valuable in any organisation anywhere in the world.

9.) ATTEND ALL LEVELS OF SCHOOL [M-]

It is a surprise to me how many people would rather stay at home than go to school. I mean, that is literally where your social life starts, and where your knowledge develops.

Despite the struggles and stress involved in learning obeying school rules, waking up early for a class and the much dreaded assessments,  most people find that after leaving school, their heart longs to be in school again,  most especially for the social life.

As much as a lot of people say there is no value in going to school, it’s rather hard to get a good paying job without having obtained a good level of education.

For example, I am more likely, as a  University graduate, to get a job in a corporate organisation,  than a person who stopped studying at High/Secondary school.

Most times, the course you study rarely counts as much as the fact that you actually studied and have a degree. A lot of organisations now seek those with a degree to train, their course, notwithstanding. The higher the level of your education, the more likely you are to get a higher paying job.

Currently the highest level of education is  a PhD, which a lot of people dread. Although it’s fine to just get a masters, or a Bachelors, PhD offers one thing that you couldn’t get, except in the medical field and that is the title of ‘Dr.’  so even if you didn’t study medicine you get to be called a Doctor without having to see the walls of a surgical ward. Also your research skills will be very desirable to several organisations, making getting a job super easy.

This however, will cost you a lot most of the time. It’s returns, however, cannot be overemphasized.  To make yourself more marketable, it is only wise that further your education officially,  and the minimum level you should attain should be an undergraduate degree.

10.) VOLUNTEER IN ANY ORGANIZATION [M-]

Now this will certainly not really earn you anything  asides fulfilment, but  it’s always good  on your CV.

Volunteering with any organisation of your interest most of the time, will require you to give your time, energy and resources to help vulnerable people or societies.

This experience will make you value all that you have and have compassion towards those who don’t have as much as you do.

It will also make organisations more willing to employ you, as most organisations are seeking those who have volunteered in organisations similar to them.

Even the organisation in which you are volunteering in might offer you employment, if they see that you are of much value to them.

In carrying out however,  volunteering should be done with the mindset to give rather than to benefit.

It’s quite easy to  volunteer in any organisation all over the world. You could either apply online, on the company’s website, or go to a branch of the company and express your willingness to volunteer in the organisation.  Most organisations don’t pay their volunteers, so they will be quite willing to accept you volunteer.๐Ÿ˜‰

Alright everyone, ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝ that will be all for today.  Just in case you’re wondering, this is likely to be a five part series, so that you don’t get bored because of its length. So, I’ll be giving it to you in small doses, hopefully one, two or more of these things will catch your attention and you delve into it and start living  and stop existing.

Alright see you in the next part (3) Thanks for reading
