From bringing me into the World
To teaching me the Word
You taught me how to Speak
And nursed me when I was Sick
You taught me how to Pray
So I can never be a Prey
You laid the Foundation
So I may build a great Nation.
You are always my Cheerleader
So I am never Bitter
For me you work and Strive
So I could live and Thrive
You showed me the right Path
So I have an upright Heart
No words could Quantify
Beautiful eulogies don’t Qualify
To express my Gratitude
In depths of great Magnitude
To this poem to you I Write
To tell you you’re my Light.
